Daniel J. Nimon

Dan Nimon serves as a Senior Consultant for CDS, where he performs comprehensive operational reviews and financial analysis for Medicare and Managed Care post-acute operations.  As part of the CDS team, he assists CDS clients in recognizing significant savings by increasing quality and reducing overall therapy and pharmacy expenses through a comprehensive approach to skilled care management.  Dan works with CDS clients to address both cost and quality challenges presented by decreased lengths of stays in short-term rehab care and the need to continually improve patient outcomes.  Mr. Nimon is also part of the CDS team that implements Resident Centered Staffing™ (RCS), a 12-hour staffing model that uses a 14-day patterned work schedule to improve resident and patient satisfaction and improve care outcomes.  In addition to his operational experience, Dan has been at the forefront of developing models of care that address new challenges being presented by the CMS Bundled Payment Initiatives, as well as Accountable Care Organizations.

Mr. Nimon specializes in development of efficient continuum management strategies for senior living organizations.  During his 30 years as a post-acute healthcare administrator and executive, he has gained extensive operational experience and has been responsible for the development of three separate home health organizations.

Mr. Nimon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services Administration from New Hampshire College and is a Certified Assisted Living Administrator and a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  Mr. Nimon has also been a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the States of Pennsylvania, Maine, Delaware and New Jersey.
