Ms. Guertin has worked in the healthcare field for over 25 years. She has a strong clinical background and over 18 years of supervisory, management and budget administration experience. Ms. Guertin serves as clinical consultant to Continuum Development Services and specializes in PACE, home care and nursing administration. Ms. Guertin has served as the Director of Nursing for a 500-bed long-term care county nursing home where she developed and implemented effective staffing schedules, collaborated with physicians to update standing physician orders, improve protocols to manage and decrease pressure ulcers, weight loss oversight and reduction/elimination of restraints. Ms. Guertin is a licensed Registered Nurse experienced in Quality Improvement benchmarks, Infection Control standards, facility admission and discharge case management She is currently a member of the Advisory Board for the Social Work and Family Studies Program at Southern Adventist University and has served as the President of the Director of Nursing Association and the Professional Nurse Council. Ms. Guertin has been the Administrator of Alexian Brothers Community Services of Chattanooga since the beginning of the program. |
