Dr. Doug Fleegle

Dr. Doug Fleegle, EdD, MBA, LNHA. For over 35 years, Dr. Fleegle has been committed to using his extensive experience in operations management, strategic planning, and financial stewardship to enhancing the quality of life for residents and staff through cultural and operational transformations. His strategic oversight has consistently resulted in improved organizational performance, including a financial turnaround of a CCRC from a $1.5 million loss to a $1.9 million positive NOM.

Dr. Fleegle has held leadership roles in organizations like Lifespace Communities, HumanGood and was the former President & CEO of United Church Homes and Services now known as EveryAge Senior Living underscoring his dedication to operational and cultural excellence. During his career, he has also been involved in promoting the missions of key organizations, including Executive Vice President of Mission Development at The Asbury Group and Vice President of Mission Preservation at Westminster Communities of Florida. Early in his career, he served as Executive Director at several senior living organizations in Pennsylvania.

Dr. Fleegle holds an Executive Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership and Innovation and Master of Business Administration from Saint Francis University of Pennsylvania. He is both a Licensed Nursing Home and Personal Care Administrator in the State of Pennsylvania, a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the Commonwealth of Virginia, and a Consecrated Diakonal Minister licensed by the Council for Health and Human Service Ministries. Dr. Fleegle is based in the Chicago metro area.

In 2012, Dr. Fleegle founded the Hyatt’s Angels Foundation which provides support to families experiencing the loss of a child. The Foundation sponsors the annual Hyatt’s Run with the Angels at the base of the Laurel Mountains set at Pine Springs Camp in Somerset County, PA.
