Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (“IDD”)

CDS is excited to expand its services to include consulting services for organizations serving the Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (“IDD”) population. As part of the engagement with American Baptist Homes of the Midwest, CDS reviewed operations of Crest Homes and Services and provided interim management to the organization.

Scott Ewing, who served as the Executive Director of 10 IDD group homes in North Carolina, was engaged as Interim Chief Operating Officer for 10 months to implement recommendations and reorganize the business line. Scott and his wife, Vickie have personal experience with this population as their son, Eric has Cerebral Palsy. Vickie has worked for more than a decade starting and supporting Kiwanis Aktion Clubs across the southeast.
